I am reading a wonderful book called Josephus: The Essential Works. It’s a marvelous book about the Jewish historian who lived during the Roman Empire. He wrote about the Herods. There are different translations. The one easy to understand is by Paul L. Maier. Josephus was an eye-witness to all the things that happened during the times of Jesus Christ. This Forum is for all who love Roman Empire history and the writings of Josephus.
