Hebrew Calendar Help Needed
Hi everyone
I am new to The Mesianic Centre( and also the Messianic Belief) and I would like as much input from everyone as possible.
I am developing a program to convert the Greek Calendar to the Hebrew Dates and I think I found a patern but when I tested it, I found that my pattern is not correct..
For example:
18 October 2009 = 30 Tishre 5770
8 October 2010 = 30 Tishre 5771
But I’m not sure that there is always a 10 day’s difference each year.. Can anyone please help me figure this out or give some link to where I can study this further?
Thank you in advance

Eliab commented on October 21, 2009: You may wish to look over this online version to see how it can function: http://www.hebcal.com/converter/?gd=2&gm=9&gy=2005&gs=on&g2h=Compute+Hebrew+Date&hd=28&hm=Av&hy=5765 I should have the calculations actually on file, but will have to look for it. Shalom |
