Jewish Sensitivities

Who did Yeshua come to save? Who is the New Covenant speaking to? Where do Jews and Gentiles fits into God’s kingdom? Why did God make someone Gentile? Why did God make someone Jewish?

The greatest racial barrier that has come down in the Scriptures is not between red, yellow, black, or white, it’s between Jew and Gentile. Everyone must become award of these racial barriers and demonstrate to the world that it is Yeshua the Messiah that has brought us together.

God does not make mistakes. If you were born a Gentile, you better believe there was a reason you are a Gentile. The God-given role of the Gentile is to make the people of Israel jealous that we have THEIR Messiah. What an amazing concept!

"I say then, they (the Jews) did not stumble so as to fall, did they? May it never be! But by their transgression salvation has come to the Gentiles, to make them jealous."
-Romans 11:11

Sensitivities

Yeshua was Jewish. Contrary to what many may perceive, Yeshua was not a Chrisitian. He was born and raised as a Jewish man. This is important to established because Jews need to understand that many Christians love and appreciate the Jewish culture and we are behind the nation of Israel supporting her.  Believing in Yeshua does not make a Jew more Gentile, nor does it make a Gentile more Jewish.

Salvation is through the Jews. Scripture makes that very clear. From this, there is no way to seperate the Jewishness of the Bible, God’s commandments, the appointed Feast Days, and the Messiah from Jews and Gentiles alike who are believers. The entire concept of a Messiah was completely Jewish. Gentiles didn’t have a Messiah, they worshipped idol gods; thus, following the Messiah is the most Jewish concept there is.

The first followers of Yeshua were all Jewsih. Jews need to comprehend that by accepting Yeshua as their Messiah, that is fulfillment from Biblical God. Some Jews don’t realize that there are other Jews that follow Yeshua and still maintain everything that’s Jewish about them.

The New Covenant was written by Jews.  Many Jews are scared of the New Covenant but many to not realize that besides Luke & Paul, the entire thing was written by fellow Jews. Jewish people should not be in fear of reading it, it’s just a continuation of the Old Convenant from God.

Being a Christian is a choice. Many Jews do not understand that being a Christian is a conscious decision, not something you are born into like Judaism.  It is often better to use "Believer" because Jews believe that Yeshua came to begin a brand new religion that has nothing to do with Judaism, which is inaccurate.
